Portraits portraits portraits.

Hi,

I wish i could be busy with christmas...at the moment i'm just busy with portraits!! I'm having a fantastic time, don't gt me wrong...but it'd still be nice to relax and make some beautiful christmas gifts for people. Alas that will have to be some time next week.. in the meantime, no fashion drawings, just portraits portraits portraits!
Here's one of the editorial portrait pictures i did that'll be used in the latest FD2D magazine.

It's alll about the hair.

I love hair. I love drawing it, looking at it, watching it. I loved my little pony as a child and i'm sure 78% of the reason was their pretty manes and tails. The little mermaid was also another favourite - again the beautiful, flowing hair is a key feature.
So now i'm older and hair is still a main factor in designs that i love. Here's a few images where hair is crucial to the piece and shows how much fun you can have with it! Hair artists...I salute you!

Illustration rally : Red Rock

Hi,

I've entered into Illustration Rally's brilliant Fashion illustration competition for Red Rock! I admit...my designs aren't your standard fashion illustrations but i'm interested to see how a big clothing company like RedRock like the style. Let me know what you think as well, I like experimenting but feedbacks always good to have!
Technically i could count these as daily outfits but i'm not. I've been so busy they've been pushed to one side but i'm determined to catch up! Expect a mass upload soon. :)

I admit, i'm not overly fond of the second one but i love the first one! :)

A late post - fashion faces illustrations

I said there may be a late one! I confess, I'd much rather stay up late then get up early, i wish i loved mornings but i don't!

So a couple of illustrations of faces, i was experimenting with a watercolour style.

and here's the illustration with lace, experimenting with pattern and composition more then anything else. Next week I'll actually post some of my influences on this blog, so far its been all about my stuff! :)
